Aoife McAtamney

Dancer, choreographer and composer Aoife McAtamney is particularly interested in creating performances that frame a specific relationship between song and dance. She has been the recipient of numerous prizes and bursaries from the Arts Council and Culture Ireland. As an Associate Artist of Dance Ireland, she created her first solo Softer Swells which toured internationally (La Briqueterie in Vitry-sur-Seine and the Instances festival in Chalon-sur-Saône were two of her stops). In Paris, she will be developing material for a new solo performance, nurtured by direct experience and the work of Rumi, Robert Lax and Meredith Monk. https://aoifemcatamney.com/
