Anne Haverty

Dublin-based novelist and poet Anne Haverty won the Rooney Prize for Literature for her first novel One Day as a Tiger in 1997. She has gone on to publish her début collection of poetry The Beats of the Moon (1999) and subsequent novels The Far Side of a Kiss (2000) and The Free and Easy (2006). She continues to work as a freelance journalist and script-writer, publishing literary criticism for publications such as the Times Literary Supplement and the Irish Times as well as writing for film and radio. She is a member of Aosdána.
