Colin Barrett answers questions about his novel Wild Houses (2024), published in French in March 2025 by Editions Rivages, with the translator Charles Bonnot. Shortlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize and acclaimed by the English-speaking press, it is 'a thrillingly moreish novel with some of the sharpest dialogue written in any recent debut and characters who held the reader captive until the very last page.' (Sunday Times)
