Sian is a writer and theatre-maker, based in Dublin. Her first work is the award-winning children’s play Aunty Ben, a LGBT positive show for children aged 7+. She is interested in multi-lingual and multi-cultural work, and has collaborated on a trilingual comedy, Te Rōhi, in English, Irish and Te Reo Māori.

Her latest producation Knapsack, is a survivalist romp for ages 8+ which asks the audience what they would pack if the world ended and had to run away. It focuses on whether a torch or a teddy is a better choice, whether sentimentality or brutality saves you in a crisis, and what tools children need when they’re far from home.
