Ciara Ní É

Ciara Ní É is a bilingual writer, performer and activist. She has performed in New York, London, Brussels, Sweden, and was named one of The Irish Examiner’s '100 Women Changing Ireland in 2022'. Much of her work is rooted in the experiences of women, queer people, and Irish speakers. She has published widely in journals and anthologies, and is the founder of REIC, a multilingual spoken word event featuring poetry, rap, music, storytelling, and cofounder of queer arts collective AerachAiteachGaelach. She has recently begun directing short films and while in Paris will develop her debut bilingual poetry collection to be published by Barzaz.
