Visits of the Old Library and the Historical Archives
- Wednesday 10 December
Wednesday 17 December - 19h
- Admission free - reservation recommended (spaces limited)
The CCI’s Old Library is one of the few surviving libraries of the many colleges, convents and monasteries which were situated in the Montagne-Sainte-Geneviève area of Paris until the end of the 18th century.
These visits are the opportunity to discover its long history and rich collection, as well as our Historic Archives. Dating from the 14th century through to the 20th century, these Archives (letters, lists of names, photographs, account, maps, objects...) are fascinating details from the life of the old Irish College. A selection of documents will be specially on show.
