La poésie de Yeats, entre les notes et les mots

Reservations opening soon

Specially lit by candlelight this evening, the Old Library will be filled with music and the poetry of William Butler Yeats on the occasion of the nationwide “Nuits de la lecture”.

Winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923, W.B. Yeats drew his inspiration from the sublime rural landscapes of Sligo as well as the streets of Dublin. Actor Théophile Choquet and violinist Leyli Karryeva will intertwine Yeats' verses with notes from the Romantic and Celtic repertoires to take us on a musical journey between city and countryside... in keeping with the theme of this 10th edition of Nuits de la Lecture.

We encourage you to wear warm clothes as the Old Library is not heated!
