On the occasion of the Rugby World Cup in France, the CCI invites you to join in the celebrations during a festive and music-filled afternoon. Whether you are a fan of the game or not, come and enjoy two free concerts presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland and Tourism Ireland in Paris. And take part in a pre-match rehearsal of Ireland’s Call (Ireland’s 32-county rugby anthem) just a few hours before the kick-off of the match between the Emerald Isle and South Africa!

First on stage is the distinctive quintet Goitse who intersperse their own compositions with age-old traditional Irish tunes. Named Live Ireland’s “Traditional Group of the Year”, Chicago Irish American News’ “Group of the Year”, as well as winning the prestigious “Freiburger International Leiter 2016” award in Germany, Goitse have released six acclaimed albums and become a leader of the new generation of traditional Irish ensembles.

Stellar Irish performer Bronagh Gallagher is both a singer and an actress. The ‘Derry girl’ has confirmed her talent as a solo soul artist with the albums Precious Soul (2004), Bronagh Gallagher (2012) and Gather Your Greatness (2016). “One of the purest, clearest talents I know” Brian Eno; “a gem”, Dave Stewart; a “true star” Glen Hansard.
