Written and directed by Rich Peppiatt, this internationally acclaimed film depicts the rise of the eponymous hip-hop trio from Belfast. Starring the band members as themselves, Kneecap is set in the late 2010s when a music teacher and two self-described ‘losers’ get together to form a hard-hitting, irreverant group rapping in their mother tongue of Irish. A hilarious and political mix of sex, drugs and standing up for one’s cultural identity, Kneecap won the Audience Award at Sundance in 2024. Don’t miss this Parisian premiere!
