September 1975, in a small rural village in Ireland, Peggy struggles to keep the family pub, Casey's, afloat in the heart of the village. When a woman's body is found in the nearby lake, the arrival of Inspector Ryan from Dublin upsets the local balance and brings back a past that was thought to be buried.
Torn between discovering the truth and keeping her pub afloat, Peggy discovers that everything may be connected.

Winner of Best Irish Language Feature Film at the Galway Film Fleadh, Báite is screened this evening with the support of Tourism Ireland as part of La Semaine de l’Irlande en France.
