Victory Nwabu-Ekeoma

Victory Nwabu-Ekeoma is an Igbo-Irish zinemaker, award-winning writer, editor, content designer and founder of Bia! Zine - a project that explores the immigrant experience in Ireland through food. Her practice engages with zine-making as a tool for democratising art-making, building a collective memory and centring Global Majority cultures, narratives, artistry and identity. During her residency at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, she aims to immerse herself in the diverse cultural diasporas present throughout Paris and learn how they carve out space for themselves through their gatherings, hospitality and commensality. In so doing, she hopes to draw connections that inform the new instalment of Bia! Zine.
