Peadar-Tom Mercier

Peadar-Tom Mercier is a musician, educator and events organiser based in Conamara. His work focuses on community development, contemporary Gaelic art, ecology and inclusion through traditional practices in rural Ireland. During his residency at the CCI, Peadar-Tom will research and develop various materials revolving around “Blow-in-ism”. Within this framework, he will aim to tie in questions around local/national identity, heritage, migration, sense of place, nationalism and patriotism into a satirical body of songs.
