Patrick Rafter

Originally from Kikenny, violonist Patrick Rafter has travelled the world as a solo musician and conductor, notably with the RTE Concert Orchestra. He has conducted and collaborated with many talented contemporary musicians and composers including Arvo Pärt. Patrick has performed on the stages of the Royal Albert Hall, Berlin Konzerthaus and Seoul Arts Centre. He is currently teaching at Cork School of Music and the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

While at the CCI, Fiachra will be working with violinist Patrick Rafter on an all-French programme of works by Franck, Lekey, and Ysaye, to be recorded as their debut duo album.
