Mikai Geronimo & Josh O’Caoimh

Mikai Geronimo & Josh O’Caoimh are an Irish animation filmmaking duo. Their work focuses on blending traditional and digital media to craft distinctive animated worlds. Their work has received a world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival, qualified for the 2023 Academy Awards, and won an IFTA.

During their CCI residency, they will develop their animated short film Syncytium, which follows the story of a mortal who encounters a celestial being in a forest. The being plays a magical flute that controls the flow of time.
