Julie Kelleher

Julie Kelleher is a theatre director and maker whose most recent directing credits include Theatre for One (Landmark Productions/Octopus Theatricals), Found by Aideen Wylde (Broken Crow/Cork Midsummer Festival) and The Lonesome West by Martin McDonagh (The Everyman). She was formerly Artistic Director/CEO at Mermaid Arts Centre (2020 – 2024) and Artistic Director of The Everyman, Cork (2014 to 2020).

Forthcoming productions include an Irish premiere of Infinity by Hannah Moscovitch and the world premiere of The House Must Win, a new musical by Mick Flannery.

During her residency, Julie will focus on a stage adaptation of an acclaimed memoir and immerse herself in the Festival d’Automne’s programme of contemporary theatre.
