David Nash

David Nash is a poet and translator from County Cork. His pamphlet, The Islands of Chile, was published by 14 poems, and his first full collection, No Man’s Land, came out in 2023 with Dedalus Press. It won the Seamus Heaney Prize for Best First Collection, and was shortlisted for several other awards, including the Royal Society of Literature’s Ondaatje Prize.

At the CCI, David will be working on his second collection of poetry, and a book of translations of poetry from Mapudungun into English. He will also be exploring the poetry of the minoritised languages of France.
