Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again

This unique cycle of musical readings was originally commissioned by the National Library of Ireland for their 2019 ‘Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again’ exhibition in Dublin. A wonderful opportunity to (re)discover the work of one of the great poets of the 20th century and enjoy the voices of some of Ireland’s most talented authors, actors and musicians, many of whom composed pieces specially for the occasion.

Wednesday 1: Eleanor Methven and Seán Mac Erlaine
This evening will be introduced by the Director of the National Library of Ireland, Dr Sandra Collins, whose career has led her to become one of Ireland’s leading figures in research, industry and public service.

Wednesday 15: Jim Lucey and Navá (Paul Roe, Shayan Coohe, Shahab Coohe and Ultan O’Brien)

Wednesday 22: Stephen Rea and Neil Martin

Wednesday 29: Marian Richardson, Kate Ellis and Adrian Hart
