Samuel Beckett Centenary - Discussion with John Banville

This discussion with John Banville is the first event at the Centre Culturel Irlandais to mark the centenary of Samuel Beckett's birth (13 April 1906).

Renowned Irish author John Banville won the prestigious Man Booker Prize in 2005 for his novel The Sea. Lara Marlowe, Paris correspondant for The Irish Times, will conduct this discussion with the author about his work and his influences, among which figures Beckett.

This event is organised in collaboration with the Irish Writers' Centre
