World Revolution. 1968: A fatal or providential year?

Our third lecture concerning the role of Revolution in national and international relations looks at events during 1968 in Ireland and elsewhere. Bernadette Devlin McAliskey founded the student movement« People's Democracy » in 1968 while she was studying at Queen’s University Belfast.  The following year, aged 22, she became the youngest member to be elected to the British Parliament. She has been a civil rights leader in Ireland for nearly forty years.
