Due to circumstances beyond our control, the concert by Mairéad Hickey & Anaïs Gaudemard initially programmed for Tuesday 26 October at 7.30pm is postponed to Saturday 13 November at 6pm. Violinist Mairéad Hickey will now be accompanied by the French harpist Agnès Clément (Orchestre symphonique de la Monnaie). Those who have made a reservation will be contacted shortly by email.

The CCI presents in association with Music Network a captivating new duo featuring acclaimed Irish violinist Mairéad Hickey and French harpist Agnès Clément. Celebrated for her fearless virtuosity and soaring tone, Mairéad Hickey’s musical integrity has entranced audiences worldwide. Currently principal harp of the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie Symphony Orchestra (Brussels), Agnès Clément is recognised as a musician of exceptional talent whose extraordinarily expressive performances have won her widespread acclaim. They will fill the historic surroundings of CCI’s chapel with a beautiful selection of music by Bach, Saint-Saëns, Massenet, Viardot, Spohr (the inventor of the violin chin rest) and a brand new commission from Music Network. The exquisite combination of violin and harp is most definitely a match made in heaven - this evening will delight music lovers!
