With Eoin Dillon (uilleann pipes), Graham Watson (guitar)
Marking UNESCO’s recent recognition of the uilleann pipes as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and 50 years since the founding of Na Píobairí Uilleann, CCI is delighted to present this concert by master piper Eoin Dillon with accompaniment by Graham Watson.
As a founding member of KÍLA, Eoin has released eleven albums and toured the world with performances at top festivals including Glastonbury, Womad (Aus/NZ) and Montreux Jazz Festival. As a solo artist, he has guested with U2, Baaba Maal, Sinead O Connor, Donal Lunny & Jane Sibery and his compositional work on ‘Ireland’s Wild River’ was nominated in the Best Music category at the 2015 Emmy Awards. His latest album Pondelorum was released by Buda Musique in September 2017 to great acclaim.
