(D)écrire l’Europe

Tonight in our Saint Patrick’s chapel, actor Théophile Choquet reads from Colm Tóibín’s first novel ‘The South’ in French translation. This text is one of three by Irish writers that have situated their story in another European country and been selected for the online exhibition (D)écrire l’Europe. Created by the library network Bibliothèques Européennes de Paris to coincide with the French Presidency of the EU, the online exhibition (D)écrire l’Europe features three books by each participating country with excerpts to read and listen to: http://eunicparis-bibliotheques.eu
